Surgical Associates holds clinical academic teaching appointments with the University of Illinois, Chicago and trains surgical residents affiliated with the UIC Metropolitan Group Hospital’s Residency in General Surgery. Surgical Associates surgeons are certified by the American Board of Surgery and several have advanced fellowship training in hepatobiliary & pancreatic, surgical critical care, bariatric minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgery. 

The office and Ascension Illinois St. Francis utilize EPIC, a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system. This allows secure access to office and hospital information seamlessly while ensuring both privacy and enhanced patient safety.
